Monday 9 Feb

Today we went for a swim in the school pool. It was warm and we showed Mrs Cooper what we could do in the pool. We need to remember our togs every day so we can go swimming.

Today Madison joined our room. She has made friends already. Welcome to Highfield Madison.

In Maths we drew 3 D shapes. They were very hard to draw but we are very clever at naming them.

We compared ourselves with a classmate today and put our findings onto a venn diagram. Have a look in our topic books next time you visit our room.

It has been very noisey at school today. The workmen have been busy breaking up concrete near the school hall and trucks have been coming in with new soil for the old adventure playground. It is getting new matting put down this week.

  4. Its great to see the hall being updated so that you can have assemblies with the whole school in one place, The old hall was there when I went to Highfield School some 30 odd years ago!!! and it seemed real big back then as everything did when you were small

I hope we don't get too much homework - Maddy was so excited that us parents had to do homework too

Have a good week everyone and be nice to Mrs Cooper
