We have now been back at school for 2 days, but we all had a great holiday. Maddy went to Australia. She was the only one to go overseas. Others were lucky to go to places like Queenstown, Wanaka, Nelson. Moraki, Christchurch, Kaikoara.
This term we are looking at ART. Today we talked about Grahame Sydney and looked at his landscape paintings. We will also be looking at Aboriginal Art.

Yes please to the picture - we have been looking at small ones on the internet and some in a book. Children were very clever though - they could see how he had used shading to go from Dark to Light to show distance.
