Term One Nearly OVER!!!

We have had a very busy term and a very cool one with EOTC week and Camp. We also got two new pupils after the Christchurch Earthquake.
Unfortunately next term we actually say goodbye to some of our class.
Isaya is off to live in Wellington. We know that he WILL keep in touch and perhaps even Skype us!!!
Also 5 boys are going to be part of the new class in Room 3. We will miss Shay, Mitchell, Lachlan, Jayden and Dylan but know they will be part of our syndicate so will still do lots together.

Have a great holiday.....don't eat too many Easter Eggs!!!!

  1. Hi Room 6
I'm being resilient - this is my 2nd try at working at this this morning and it is not always working... Grrr!!! I do think it is more me than the blog that is a bit silly.

I would love to come and visit when you are working (actually it is more like playing) with magnets and pulleys. I wonder how they do some of the funny things that they do. I would love you to share with me all the things you have wondered about and how you have discovered some of the answers to your questions.

Brrr - it is so cold this morning - This is what I wonder! How come cows and sheep don't get really cold in the winter. I know that they have coats that keep them really warm - but they wear the same coat in the summer and winter. What is it that is special about their coats that allow them to be warm and cool at the same time? If I wore my winter coat in the summer I'd become toast! AND smelly as I'd overheat and sweat lots and lots!

Please let me know if you can help me with my wondering.
    Bye for now
    Ms Miller

  2. Well done Mrs Miller!

We have lots of good ideas about your question. Next week we will make a powerpoint to share some of them with you.
